Jessi (Founder and all round great gal) is a hair stylist from 'Merica who graduated from cosmotology school in 2003 and went straight into hair styling. She has studied in Chicago, New York, San Francisco and Singapore, and loves keeping herself up to date on different hair techniques and trends from around the world. This year, Jessi became a certified Kevin Murphy Gold.Key trainer and loves training up and coming stylists in her spare time (hence why her juniors at The Parlour are so damn good!). Jessi is also a Schwarzkopf Master Colorist, Certified Brazilian Blowout stylist and graduate from Bumble and Bumble University. She specializes in natural highlighting, balayage, color correction and precision haircutting. She also offers one on one styling classes for you to build up your confidence in styling your hair at home. Get booked up!
Our incredibly lovely Senior Stylist Lee has been practising hair styling across the world for over 17 years - starting out at Tygerberg College in Cape Town, South Africa back in 2001. She went on to work at Style Salon in Wellington, South Africa, The Hair Gallery in Tunbridge Wells, UK, and The Haircorridor in Dubai. She has trained with Schwarzkopf, Goldwell, Wella and Kevin Murphy - and is an absolute natural with the scissors (not to mention a total sweetheart).
Joanne, our brilliant stylist from Singapore, has always been obsessed with hair and make up, and began taking courses in 2012. After graduating from Temesek Polytechnic, she decided, 'nope, not an office job for me!' and looked for a professional, friendly salon that would equip her with reputable, global qualifications. She stumbled upon The Parlour and has been with us since 2015. She is a pro at colour correction, special occasion styling and swanky haircutting. Joanne is also trained to apply make up, and would love to chat to you about make up for events, shoots, tutorials or just because! Oh and did we mention she's hilarious? Because she is. Make appointment already lah.
Sylvia is a true artist at heart. After studying at the London School of Arts she decided that she wanted to expand her career. Sylvia has graduated from The Parlour Apprentice program after one year of training especially under Jessi. Syliva takes the utmost care with clients and is patient with their concerns. She has recently become a certified Cezanne stylist. She specialises in natural highlighting, balayage, creative color, smoothing treatments and Bellami hair extensions(tape, weft and kerating tips).
